This part is used in the same way a misab plate is used on a weber carburettor. It uses two large o-rings to isolate the carburettor from heat and vibration.

The part comes with 4 thackery washers, which must be used under the fixing heads. The washers must not be completely coil-bound; a gap must exist in the washer so there can be some movement in the carb. Please contact us if you’re unsure of this detail.

These ram pipes are created in fixed pairs. The base plates are design to seal against the carburettor face and the breather ports are neatly hidden. This allows them to be used with spray type water injection without the water entering the float bowl. The pipes are conveniently pointed toward a potential central water spray nozzle.

These can also be used on standard weber IDF carburettors.

One item does one carburettor. In the case of the flat 4 VW engine that run two IDF carburettors, please order 2 items.
